Citizens Advice
Peterborough

Citizens Advice Peterborough is a local registered charity that offers free, confidential and impartial advice and information. We are not just here in times of crisis – we also campaign for policy changes that benefit the population as a whole. We value diversity, promote equity and challenge discrimination.

Trustee Board

As a registered charity, we have a board of trustees. Trustees are volunteers responsible for governing and setting strategic direction for our work. They also ensure we operate in accordance with our charitable objectives, as set out in our Constitution. i.e. the charity is doing what it was set up to do.  Trustees work together as 'the board', using their skills and experience to guide the charity forward.

Our trustees care deeply about those in our city of Peterborough who need clear advice and support to work through worrying or complex problems impacting their lives and their families. Our trustees work to support our staff and volunteers, while also ensuring the sustainability of the charity in our city and how to expand our services to make us more accessible and to help more people.

Our Staff

We are a small staff team - we have some paid specialist assessors and advisers; predominanatly linked to funded contracts.
We sometimes have paid roles available depending on available funding.
See below for details of our current management/ supervision team.
